 <note>My Pals are Here! English has been developed to make the learning of the English Language a fun and rewarding experience. Addressing the requirements of the revised English Language Syllabus (Ministry of Education, Singapore), this series emphasizes the teaching and learning of English in the context of use. Hence, reading, grammar, vocabulary, writing, oral interaction and listening skills are taught in the context of text types. Specific strategies focusing on comprehension and thinking skills form key components of each unit.There are six units in Textbook and Workbook 4A, and five units in Textbook and Workbook 4B. These units are organised by text types and driven by themes pupils can easily relate to. These themes provide meaningful contexts for the learning of the English Language. The use of colorful illustrations and photographs simulates thinking and sustains interest. In addition, a wide range of teacher's resources and supplementary materials for pupils has been developed to support, extend and enrich the teaching and learning of English.</note>
